What happens after cremation?

There’s no timeline,
only yours

Unlike burial, cremation doesn’t require an immediate ceremony. Families can
plan a meaningful gathering when they’re ready—weeks, months, or years later.

Take the time you need

There’s no timeline. Families may hold ashes at home and decide on a resting place when they’re ready. There’s no rush, no deadline.

A place is already waiting

Your Everis plan includes a Spreading Grove, a shared place in a protected forest where you can spread some or all of the ashes.

Hold a ceremony

When the time is right, gather, share stories and return ashes to the earth. For many this is the moment they’ll remember most.

Nature Memorial Ceremonies

The ceremony everyone will remember

Returning ashes to the earth isn’t a formality. It’s the moment families carry with them.

A Nature Memorial ceremony gives everyone a place to gather, share stories, and honor the life that shaped them. It’s included with every Everis plan.

A Place To Return

When you’re ready, a place is already waiting

When families plan cremation and memorial together, they tell us: when the moment came, they didn’t have to make decisions. They got to be present.

That’s what planning does.

A Living Memorial

A tree that grows
in their name, forever

A Memorial Tree is your family’s own dedicated tree in a protected forest. Not a shared space, yours.

A permanent, healing place to return whenever you want to feel close and connected.

This May, a Nature Memorial ceremony
($1,000 value) is included with your tree.

Who Plans Complete Cremation?

Planning is how we honor
the people we love

Planning for someone

A diagnosis, a declining parent, or simply the awareness that time is uncertain. You want to protect the people you love from decisions that shouldn't have to be made in grief.

“Supportive and wonderful experience from first contact to memorial. The team was patient with my questions and the process was smooth during a very stressful time.”

Planning for yourself

Preplanning for yourself is one of the most generous things you can do. It removes every difficult decision from your family's grief. It lets you choose what matters most to you.

“A thoughtful, eco-friendly way to prearrange end-of-life. I love that I can plan ahead, ease my children’s burden and give them a place to visit other than a cemetery.”
