Memorial Trees:
A Living Return

How we return to the earth can reflect how we lived. A Memorial Tree is a place in the forest—returning you to the natural cycle of life.

Learn how it works and what it means for you.

No pressure. No obligation.

Reflect Your Love of the Outdoors

Rooted in who you are

Many of us have shaped our lives around the outdoors: forests, trails, water. It makes sense that those places become part of how we’re remembered.

A Memorial Tree carries that love of nature forward. Your resting place is part of a living ecosystem.

Take the first step toward a living legacy.

Memorial Trees Protect Land

More than a memorial.
A conservation act.

Each of our nine Memorial Forests is permanently protected by conservation partnerships—actively managed and ecologically maintained.

When ashes return to the earth at a Memorial Tree, they become part of a living forest. Your memorial doesn’t just rest in nature. It helps safeguard it.

Conservation

Forest management, habitat preservation, and biodiversity support—tailored to each forest’s unique ecology.

Stewardship

Long-term care of each forest: trail maintenance, ecological monitoring and ongoing access for families.

Forever Protected

Legal conservation easements mean our forests can’t be developed or disturbed. Your memorial is permanent.

Carbon Sequestration

Our forests actively capture and store carbon; meaningful contribution to climate health that compounds over time.

Minimal Footprint

No concrete vaults, no embalming chemicals. Our process honors the earth and leaves the land better.

Wildlife Corridors

Our forests connect to broader ecological networks, creating safe passage for wildlife including at-risk species.

A Living Legacy

Trees instead of
tombstones

After cremation, families need a place to remember. With Everis, ashes find a permanent home in a protected Memorial Forest—not on a mantle, not scattered without a place to return.

A Memorial Tree is a living place that changes with the seasons, welcomes every generation, and grows. Not a stone marker. A place outdoors that feels like home.

Give your family a living place to remember.

Three cremation options,
zero carbon impact

Every cremation with Everis is carbon-neutral. We calculate the emissions of each process, then offset them through verified environmental programs.

Flame. Water. Or soil cremation. Each reflects a different set of values, but all three honor both your loved one and the planet.
