What’s the relationship between Everis and Better Place Forests?
Better Place Forests remains a nonprofit focused on protecting Memorial Forests and leading ceremonies. Everis is a separate company, created by former Better Place Forests team members, now partnering to offer full end-of-life planning support.
Do I have to use Everis if I’ve already reserved a tree?
Not at all. Your contract with Better Place Forests stays the same. Everis services are optional and available when and if you need them.
When will cremation and insurance be available?
Cremation and final expense insurance launch in Northern California in Fall 2025, with other states to follow.
When will digital obituaries be available?
Digital memorials and obituaries will launch nationwide in Fall 2025.
